Nomad

Over the past 25 years Nomad Youth & Community Project has developed into a well-respected charity that provides a wide range of services for children, young people, and families in the area.

Nomad’s work is targeted towards those who are disadvantaged through economic and/or complex social issues.

The team’s aim is to support people in making good and informed choices in all aspects of their lives, particularly in the areas of education, health, training, employment, finances, independence, recreation and relationships.

Nomad has a Christian ethos and works collaboratively with other organisations and agencies to deliver positive and individually tailored support programmes.

Nomad Food Bank

During 2020 the Nomad Food Bank delivered over 1,300 food parcels (3,000 bags of food) to local families and individuals in need as opposed to 2019 when Nomad delivered 419 Food Parcels.

They have also given out Food Vouchers totalling more than £4,000. This was made possible by lots of fantastic volunteers and the hugely generous donations of individuals, streets, schools, churches, businesses and local groups & organisations.

If you require assistance with food please email the Nomad Food Bank at [email protected] and they will be pleased to help you where possible.
