Vision and values

Our vision

To give Hope, provide Opportunity, and see Transformation by God’s powerful love.

We exist to offer people:

Hope

A welcoming church where people can get to know God and each other better. A safe place to start a journey of following Jesus, make friends and discover hope for the future.

Opportunity

A loving church where we can all play our part, grow in our love for God and each other, and where there is space and encouragement to grow in the gifts God has given each one of us.

Transformation

A passionate church where we are transformed by God’s love and power and help to transform the lives of people in our community and beyond.

Connections

We have lots of connections! Firstly, we are  part of the Salt & Light Advance group of churches and members of the Baptist Union in the UK.

We are also members of the Evangelical Alliance (EA) and subscribe to the EA statement of faith.

We enjoy working with our friends in local churches and are part of the Churches Together in Henley and are founding members of the Debt Centre along with three local churches.

We enjoy partnering with many wonderful organisations that make a positive difference in the world. These include:

Exciting media ministry for people in Pakistan

Supporting Christians in the Middle East

Human rights and freedom of belief around the world

A home for every child that needs one

Healthcare, education and humanitarian care

Providing a welcome for refugees
