giving

At Henley Baptist Church people have been generous with their time, energy and finances for generations. We invite you to take part too, whether it be with a one-off donation or a regular amount.

Tithing is our foundation for giving. The Bible teaches us that it is the baseline standard for giving. When we give the first 10% of our income to the church, this is an expression of putting God first in our lives. Tithing is an act of worship that expresses our gratitude to God, our faith, and love for others.

Offerings are free-will offerings above and beyond the tithe.

There are a number of ways in which to give:

Sundays

each month we have a tithes and offerings collection but you are able to give at any Sunday service by completing the details on a giving envelope and placing it in the wooden box on the wall in the cafe.

Standing order

the most convenient way to give is by regular standing order. To set one up, complete a standing order form, which you can download here.

Online

You can now give directly to the church through Paypal or a debit or credit card by typing the amount you wish to give and clicking donate and following our secure process.

Gift Aid

Tax can be claimed back on donations from UK tax payers. You can download a Gift Aid declaration form here to enable this.
